Job Responsibilities
- Work closely with your mentor to design, develop, and maintain code in Python, Golang, or a similar programming language.
- Add new features, debug, identify, and track issues in Red Hat products (RHEL, OpenShift, or others).
- Collaborate with wider team members and other departments such as Quality Engineering, Design, Product Management, or Documentation throughout the product cycle.
- Network with other talented interns in an inclusive workplace where you can be yourself and thrive.
What You Would Bring
- Basic knowledge of and passion for Software Engineering, with a willingness to use Python, Golang, or similar programming languages.
- Passion, curiosity, and desire to create new things and understand how things work internally.
- Willingness to learn and proactively work as part of a wider team.
- Working knowledge of written and spoken English.
- Full-time matriculated student in a tertiary institution and able to commit to a 6-month program duration from January to July 2026.
